Then the Entrepreneurship Bursary at Coleg Llysfasi might be just what you’re looking for.
To be eligible you need to:
- Have successfully achieved your studies up to an NVQ 4 or H.N.D. / Degree standard
- Live and have your business based and run in Wales
- Be prepared to work full time in your business
The Scholarships can also be awarded to more than one partner in a business partnership providing they reach the eligibility criteria. Since the launch of the project over 6 years ago the Entrepreneurship Scholarships have helped to establish 1000 businesses set up by graduates throughout Wales. These in turn have created 760 full time jobs in Wales and pumped over £20m into the economy of Wales.
You can also benefit from FREE business consultancy from experts as your business gets off the ground, a service that would normally cost you several thousand pounds. We also run several workshops for new businesses covering the various aspects of running a small business. You may be able to benefit from these even if you don't qualify for the Bursary.
We also run a number of events and activities throughout the year developing enterprise skills for students. Even if you have no intention of going into business, you will still learn many skills that employers in all kids of areas find valuable.
