College Facilities
Llysfasi welcomes students with many interests and backgrounds and a wide range of ages, including school leavers and adult learners. Many travel to the College using the extensive network of transport provided by the College and others are resident in the College's purpose-built hostel with restaurant and leisure facilities.
Sport
Many students participate in team sports, such as football and rugby. Students who live at the College have the use of a large indoor sports area for five-a-side football, basketball and badminton. A pool table, snooker table and football table are also available. Trips are organised to a variety of other sport and leisure venues, such as local leisure centres for swimming, bowling, ice skating and dry ski slope skiing.
Accommodation
The College's purpose-built hostel has been recently refurbished and includes a dining hall and leisure facilities including wide screen television, DVD/Video and pool table, for those who wish to stay at the College. It has 61 bedrooms that include washing facilities and study area. Each Hostel block has 2 washrooms and a kitchen with kettle, toaster, fridge and microwave provided as standard.
For younger residential students, there are hostel wardens in place, providing friendly support to get you through the year. Trips to the cinema, leisure centre and other requested activities can be organised by the wardens.

Free Transport
Available to a number of students travelling on designated routes to the Llysfasi site.
Childcare
Through a partnership with Miri Meithrin, a children's day nursery is available 1.5 miles from the main campus at Llysfasi providing a safe, stimulating, caring environment for students' children with discounted fees.
Snack Bar & Dining Room
Value for money meals and snacks freshly made from local produce are on offer on a daily basis at both Llysfasi and Wrexham Training sites.
Hair & Beauty Salons
Directions and Xpectations are Hair and Beauty Salons that are run at Wrexham Training by supervised trainees and provide a professional service for the public at reasonable prices.

Facilities for Hire
The College can offer a number of facilities at very competitive prices. There are facilities on their main site at Llysfasi for meetings, conferences, residential courses, events and much more.
The Lecture Theatre
The brand new Lecture Theatre is a state of the art teaching facility that can seat up to 164 in tiered seating. Fully air-conditioned, with P.A. System, Projection Facilities and PowerPoint.
Committee and Lecture Rooms
Committee and lecture rooms are available for hire with OHP and screen, TV/Video, Flipchart and PowerPoint. Classrooms with computer stations are also available.
Accommodation
The College can offer very reasonably priced accommodation in 61 bedrooms for up to 152 people. Excursions and evening activities can be arranged by the College for group bookings. We welcome large groups.
Catering
We offer a delicious array of catering options, including dining room meals, buffets and packed lunches. The dining room can seat up to 100 people.
